How to differentiate REAL and FAKE PO Bling?

Hey girls,

PO Bling is Korea's best selling pore sonic cleansing device!
It's efficiency of deep cleaning your pores are simply amazing! However, there are many sellers online or websites that sell fake PO Bling and claim that they are real ones. I actually bought 2 PO Bling from 2 different website but unfortunately I got a fake one from xxx (If you wish to know feel free to drop me an email because I believe MANY people actually buy stuff from there lol)

Lets begin!
First, lets take a look at both PO Bling, can you guess which is real and which is the fake one?
Now, look at the box of the both PO Bling, they still look the same right?

Take a closer look! Although it is not very clear, you can see they have slightly different font, look at the exclamation mark (!)

This is the back of the box. Under the CE marking, I am not very sure what is that called but I think it is the type of plastic used to manufacture the box?

This is the power button of the PO Bling,
If you can notice, the diamond shape is slightly longer and the edges are more define!
BTW if you are wondering, yes I took off the brush so I can put them closer to each other haha.

Again, the brush was removed, for the real one, it is much easier to remove the pore brush compared to the fake one which took some time to remove and does not really fit well too.

The real brush is much more compact and the brushes are fine and reeeally smooth; The fake one is quite fine too but not as smooth! I used my brush just before taking this picture that's why it was wet , sorry!

Could not find any difference here aside from the button! They look really similar, haha!

The bottom!
Real: There is a serial number for each and every real PO Bling
The words printing for the real one is more define, well you can see for yourself!

Click the image for a gigantic view of it!

The real one does not have the 'open' sign.

PO Bling stand, the real one is very clean and bright new but the fake one has a little dirt on it and it just does not feel right lol.

The base of the PO Bling stand !

So now, TADAA! The left one is the real PO Bling Sonic cleansing device from Korea!

I got my real PO Bling from Hermo, they deliver really fast ( 1 to 3 working days ) and they are really efficient, and most importantly is they sell real, authentic skin care products! Do check them out!

Thanks for reading, I hope this can help you out and be careful not to get the wrong one, it might damage your skin or it might not, I don't know =) Take care!

  13. Thank you for your thorough explanation! I was just wondering if there is an actual problem with the fake one (except warranty maybe?). Is it somehow defective or inferior in quality or something like that? I live in Germany and my only options of buying the po bling sonic clean are Amazon marketplace and ebay. Both sellers have the same official looking images. The thing is, I noticed that there is no serial number on the bottom of the sonic clean in the pictures, which must mean the one photographed was a fake, right? (Or simply a not-for-sale piece?)
So now I am trying to figure out if it's worth the risk. If I were to get a fake, would it at least be functioning properly?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Juniper Bees,
      unfortunately there are!
      1. The brush of the fake pobling is not compact and very rough. You can definitely compare the difference with the real one. I guess it will be too rough for your delicate skin!
      2. The fake one vibrates louder and harder.
      3. My fake one only lasted for 2 months, it is dead now =(
      4. The fake one is definitely NOT water proof. Water tend to seep in easily through the gaps and wet the battery. It will be a hard time not getting the product wet since you have to wash it every time after using it and who washes their face without water? ^_^
Overall I think it's not worth the fake ones due to the reasons ^~
I think you can get pobling from their original website http://pobling.co.kr/
The website is Korean but you can change your language preference on the upper left corner ^_^

      Hope this helps! Good luck!

  50. Hi thanks for sharing this but mine is a lil bit confuse. Some of the things like it's real but some aren't. Im confused. So is that means mine is fake? I'm trying to turn on the po bling but it doesn't work. Is it bc of the battery?(but it hard to take the battery away), the po bling itself? Or i'm the on who doesnt know how to turn on lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. I thought mine was real .. but mine is fake also .. i buy it very expensive.. hahaha..

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well aside from the serial number mine has it all, because mine doesnt have the serial number and i thought mine was fake but apperantely its real lol. Cuz i have another product (real technique brush for make up i bought it online because it doesnt have serial number i contact the online shoping and they said you can check our product is 100% real and its being stated in the official real techniques website, and i check it and it does real haha). So apperantely some they make it have a serial number but usually for export they make it in another country but doesnt have serial number. So its hard for a country outside the company original place, and people like us that keep being fooled. But now i'm sure mine is real even though doesnt have serial number.

  53. Hi.. can you tell me which website for the fake one? suemohamad91@gmail.com

  54. Hi there, thanks for the post. I got my brush from SaSa in Macau so I'm pretty sure it is genuine. Everything I have is the same with your photos except mine does not actually have a serial at the bottom, unless it had rubbed off (I've had it for over a year now). Also at the bottom of the stand it doesn't have that little thing in the centre either. Hopefully that is useful for you to know.
